Your First Visit

We have two spots available for patients on the west side of the building. These spots are marked with “Active Living Chiropractic” signs.
There is also street parking and a paid city lot directly across from our clinic.

If you are filling out forms, please arrive at least 30 minutes before your appointment.
If you would like to fill out the paperwork ahead of time please download the appropriate forms from the options at the top of the page and email them to us when completed.
Be sure to arrive early enough to allow for time to find a parking space.

Initial Visit:
Chiropractic: 30-45 min
Massage: 45, 60 or 90 min
Acupuncture: 75 min
Subsequent Visit:
Chiropractic: 15 min
Massage: 30-120 min depending on booking
Acupuncture: 60 min

Please wear appropriate clothing to allow us to access your area of complaint and something that will allow you to move around.
We provide tank tops and shorts should you need to change.

Yes. Unless we feel we need more information or if you need to be referred out for imaging or consultation.

Extended Health Plans: We offer direct billing to most insurance companies! Generally insurance plans cover between 80-100% of Chiropractic, Massage &/or Acupuncture fees. Please contact your insurance company for details on your plan.
ICBC: Active claims are generally partially covered for Chiropractic, Registered Massage Therapy, and Registered Acupuncture Treatments. Please contact the office for more details on ICBC coverage.
Medical Services Plan (MSP): covers $23/visit for patients who qualify for Premium Assistance or Social Services. For these MSP beneficiaries, MSP contributes $23 per visit for a combined annual limit of 10 visits each calendar year for the following services from approved providers: acupuncture, chiropractic, massage therapy, naturopathy, physical therapy and non-surgical podiatry.
WCB: Unfortunately we do not accept WCB claims at Active Living.
